Little Discoveries originally started in October 1995 in Illinois. In January 2021, Ms Fran purchased the location in Schererville, IN. LDCP had quickly obtained PTQ3 and continues to stay at that level. They offer PreK through the OnMyWay PreK program and conclude the school year with a graduation to be proud of. They continue to be a place for college observations, high school internship programs, grandparent read along times and participate in the TEACH scholarship program for interested staff members to become CDA certified or obtaining their AS, BS, or master’s in early education. The administration has an open door policy for all questions, concerns, as well as any and all communication from families and staff.

At Little Discoveries Childcare/Preschool, we offer age-appropriate care and learning experiences designed to meet each child’s developmental needs. Our classrooms are thoughtfully grouped by age, allowing children to play, communicate, and learn alongside their peers.
We proudly follow state guidelines for teacher-to-student ratios, ensuring each child receives the attention, care, and support they deserve.
Infant
(6 Weeks – 12 Months)
A warm, nurturing environment that supports early bonding, sensory exploration, and a gentle introduction to routines.
Toddlers
(12 – 36 Months)
Active, curious, and always on the move—our toddler classrooms provide safe spaces to explore, socialize, and build independence.
Preschool
(Ages 3 – 4)
With a focus on learning through play, our preschoolers engage in hands-on activities that support language, math, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
Pre - Kindergarten
(Age 4 – 5)
Through the On My Way Pre-K program, children prepare for kindergarten with a structured curriculum that fosters school readiness and confidence. The year concludes with a memorable graduation celebration.
